Remora Energy International LP is a Bermuda based Exploration & Production company. The company has a strategy of applying industry leading technology and technical expertise to under-developed basins throughout the world. Since Remora’s inception in 2007, the company has developed a focused portfolio of assets in Colombia through our wholly owned subsidiary, Columbus Energy Sucursal Colombia.

Through Columbus, the company holds interests in 11 blocks in the Llanos and Putumayo basins in Colombia covering nearly 1 million acres of gross acreage(1). In our inaugural year of drilling activity (2008) 11 wells were drilled resulting in a 91% success rate and the addition of over 2,800 Bbl/d of net production. In 2009, this drilling activity and success continues.

With offices in Bermuda, Colombia and the US, the company employs 50 people with all operational staff based in Bogota, Colombia.

(1) Includes 4 licenses from ANH Mini-Round held in 2008 where Remora (in partnership with Petro Andina) was the successful bidder. These blocks have not yet been officially assigned by the ANH.
