Avik Dey – Chief Financial Officer

Avik Dey is Chief Financial Officer and leads the Finance, Corporate Planning, M&A and HR functions for the company. He has been active in the global E&P business since 1999 with experience across three distinct industries (E&P, Investment Banking and Private Equity). Most recently, he was Assistant Vice President for First Reserve Corporation, the world’s largest and oldest private equity firm focused exclusively on the energy industry. Prior to joining First Reserve, he was part of the global energy group at Deutsche Bank Securities in New York. He has also held multiple positions in Finance and Business Development with EnCana Corporation.

Dey is currently a Director for the Alumni Advisory Board at the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Young Professional in Energy (YPE). He was previously a director for Stone Mountain Resources and Beryl Oil & Gas. Dey holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of Calgary.
