Jose Vicente Zapata is a partner of Holguin, Neira & Pombo Abogados law firm located in Bogota, Colombia. Mr. Zapata has been practicing law for 21 years and is recognized as leader in environmental matters, providing counselling services in corporate and commercial law. Mr. Zapata has been a member of various Board of Directors of multinational corporations in the automotive, energy, telecommunications, industrial and food sectors. He is also the author of various articles and publications relative to mining, oil and gas, as well as the annual contributor to the Yearbook of International Environmental Law “The Year in Review - Colombia” published by Cambridge University Press.

Mr. Zapata graduated from Universidad Javeriana, holds an Ll. M from McGill University and undertook doctoral studies also at McGill.
